Does Fonoteca have a loan service for CDs ?

Public Libraries and similar equipments can make loans of audiovisual documents, with cultural and pedagogical purposes, according to an European Community directive, already transposed to the Portuguese law. Based on that legislation, and in order to answer the numerous requests for loans from schools (teachers and students), Fonoteca has created a loan service for CDs only, exclusively with didactical purposes. All requests must be put in written according to the formalities present in the loan regulation. It is not possible to have a true loan service because we don't have the minimum conditions to do it.
